He was predeceased by : his wife Trina Marie Schaefer; and his brother Jackie Leroy Schaefer. He is survived by : his parents, Jack Schaefer (Christine) of Grand Prairie, Texas and Virginia Schaefer (Smith) of Chandler; his son Jackie Oliver Nick Schaefer of Haltom City; and his siblings, Trae Schaefer (Sean Faulkner) of Dallas and Kim Davis Gissel (Mike) of Fort Worth.
