He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Merle (Williams) and Jimmie "J. D."; his sons, Bradley Wayne Watts and Michael Shane Watts; and his brother John Wesley Watts.
He is survived by: his wife Joretta Watts of Hamby; his daughters, Sherri Leverich (Lee) and Christy McChristian (Clay) of Graham, Texas; his grandchildren, Bradlee, Sydnee and Rylee; his sister-in-law Marsha Watts; and his son Matthew of Richmond.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to American Cancer Society, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Hamby Baptist Church, or the charity of one's choice.
