He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence E. Bright and Mossy Bright; his wife Loretta Marie Bright; his daughter Elaine Hamm; his son-in-law Bobby Hamm; his siblings, Raymond Bright, Roy Bright and Lavon Jackson; and his grandsons, Clayton Dwaine Bright and TJ Hamm.

He is survived by : his sister Lennie Gillentine of Iredell, TX; his son Dwaine Bright (Cathy) of Rockwall, TX; his grandchildren, Dale Robinson of Walnut Springs, TX and Misty (Mark Stringfellow) of Forney, TX; and his great grandchildren, Caroline Robinson, Gregory Robinson, Lauren Robinson, Jacob Gooch, Joshua Gooch, Ty Robinson and Dalen Robinson.
