She is survived by : her parents, Maria Villanueva Chavez of Hamlin and Luciano Chavez Sr. of Hamlin; her fiancé Rudy Vera Jr. of Hamlin; her son Jaxon Luke Vera; her stepson Kadaniel Vera; her siblings, Michelle Chavez of Hamlin, Luciano Jr. (Victoria) of Hamlin and Danny of Hamlin; and her nieces and nephews, Miss Abigail Chavez of Hamlin, Marcus, Sabrina, Nova Chavez of Stamford, Angel, Ray, Elijah De La Rosa of Wichita Falls, Katie and Aiden Chavez of Hamlin.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Marie's name to Hendrick Hospice Care of Abilene, Cook Children's Medical Center of Ft. Worth or Ronald McDonald House of Ft. Worth.
