With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Brown (Hamlin, Texas), who passed away on April 12, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Jimmy Hunter and Sylvia Hunter (Davis); and her siblings, John T Hunter and Minnie Lee. She is survived by : her husband William Brown; her children, Ester Johnson (Leonard), Hazel Brown Holloway, May Green, Pauline Smith (Garny), Tabitha Mullings, Denice Boykin (Dyrron), William Brown (Barbara), Charles Brown, Ronald Brown (Darlene) and Stephen Brown (Janice); her siblings, Willie Hunter and Erma Mayes; and her siblings-in-law, Howard Brown, Charles Brown, Minnie Robinson and Jo Ann Elix. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
