She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Sumruld and Bennie Sumruld (Stokes); and her sister Velesta Black. She is survived by: her husband Barry Bourland; her daughter Seleta Merrick; her brother Lorell Sumruld (Dee); her grandchildren, Kira Merrick and Jordynn Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Russell Crawford and James Wilson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
