We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2025, at the age of 82, Evelyn Louise Sanders of Harker Heights, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Addie Pearl and Charles Simmons; her husband Henry Sanders, Jr.; and her siblings, Catherine Causey, Bernice Gaines, Lulamae Davis, Sammy Davis and Joe Louise Lamar.
She is survived by: her son Robert Lamar (Georgia); her brothers, Robert Lamar, Rueben Lamar and Clarence Davis; and her grandchildren, Michael Paul Lamar, Adrian Q. Lamar, Rodney Johnson, Rueben Johnson, Tehia Rice-Mills and Tidashia Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chisolm's Family Funeral Home (3100 Old FM 440 Rd, Killeen, TX 76549). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
