She is survived by: her sons, Alonzo Mendoza Marez and Gilberto Navarro; her siblings, Julian Mendoza, Celia, Beatriz, Fernanda, Refugio and Rebeca Mendoza; and her children, Aurelio Mendoza Frias, J. Daniel Navarro, Roberto Navarro, Gladys Nieto Mendoza, Leticia Rios, Rosa Isela Cardozo, Maria R. Borunda and Monica Mendez Navarro.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those wishing to honor Maria's memory to send plants or white or light pink flowers to her daughter, Leticia Rios.
