She is survived by: her daughter Tashonda Renee'Mejia (Ray Mejia Jr); her grandchildren, Jenna Salinas (John), Ramon Mejia III and Jake Mejia; her sister Roma McCormack (Bill); her sibling's children, Robert Oncken (Patty), Kent Oncken, Gary Oncken (Jessica), Mike Palmer, Parrish Palmer, Ryan Southern, Ashley Brock (Wayne) and Carissa Southern-Mosley (Wayne); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lindsay Palmer, Alyssa Palmer, Katelyn Palmer, Kendal Brock, Kylie Southern, Chloie Southern, Peyton Mosley, Austin Palmer, William Brock, Cain Southern (Grace) and Cullen Phillips; Lakyn Phillips and Emma Southern.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550).
