We bid farewell to Josie Diaz of Harlingen, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 9, 2025 at the age of 74. Josie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Juan C. Martinez (Balderas); her siblings, Francis, Terri, Connie and Marty; and her son-in-law Jeff Tuttle.
She is survived by: her husband Ruben of Providence Village; her children, Barbara Daigle (Jason) of The Colony, Dracut of The Colony, Melissa Tuttle (Jason) of The Colony, Veronica Diaz of The Colony and Abram Diaz (Amber); her grandchildren, Elijah, Jaylin, Tristan, Burlington, Isabella, Josiah, Madison, Micaela, Dracut, Miandrea, Lilliana and Christian; and her great grandchildren, Ada Jane and Ellie Ann.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hoening & Son Funeral Home - Fostoria (133 W Tiffin St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church (323 N Wood St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery (765 Van Buren St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A reception was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church (323 N Wood St, Fostoria, OH 44830).
