It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason Zumwalt of Harwood, Texas, born in San Marcos, Texas, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Anna Mae Zumwalt, Edward Schaefer and Wilma Cox. He is survived by: his parents, Keith Zumwalt of Harwood and Melinda Schaefer Zumwalt of Harwood; his wife Christine Nicole Zumwalt; his children, Ezabell Zumwalt, Abigail Zumwalt and Taylor Zumwalt; his sister Julie Moen (Brandon) of Luling; his sibling's children, Kelli Moen and Preston Moen; and his grandfather Willard Zumwalt of Harwood.
Due to current CDC, State and local mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity, and use of personal protective masks will be required for the visitation, chapel service and graveside burial rite. Those remotely symptomatic of COVID-19 are politely asked not to attend.
