A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 26th 2012 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (3515 Helena Avenue, Nederland, Texas 77627).
Helen Fae Clark, age 75 of Hemphill, Texas died Thursday, August 23, 2012.
Born on May 14, 1937, in Port Neches, Texas, she was the daughter of Thomas Wilburn Clark and Nancy Ella Lane Clark.
She was a resident of Port Neches for most of her life before retiring to The Camp in Clarktown, Texas, between Burkeville and Hemphill.
Helen was employed by Arco Oil and Gas, Sabine Pass and the Department of Human Services in Port Arthur, Texas and Newton, Texas.
Survivors include her children, Chas Clifton and his wife, Evie of Port Neches and Nancy Colleen Coats of Groves, Texas, grandchildren, Heather of Vidor, Texas Kayla of Port Neches and Sarah and Noah of Groves, Texas and brother, T.W. Clark of Mayflower, near Burkeville, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Hazel Clark Yancy (FAG mem 25764420) and grandson, Phillip Stuart (FAG mem 23631912).
A gathering of Ms. Clark's family and friends will be Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 5 until time of service at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3515 Helena Avenue, Nederland. A memorial service will be Sunday evening at 6pm at the church.
Cremation was held at Broussard's Crematorium, 5150 Stivers Drive, Beaumont.
Arrangements are under the direction of Broussard's, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Clark's name to the J.R. Huffman Public Library, 375 Sabine Street, Hemphill, Texas 75948-9695.
