It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kayla Marie White of Hemphill, Texas, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Paul Elliott; and her grandparents, Tinker Horton, Steve Elliott and Ollie Chance. She is survived by: her mother Diane Horton Elliott (Chauncey) of Milam; her husband Kolby White of Pineland; her children, Jayci Arney of Hemphill, Spencer Arney of Hemphill and Legend White of Hemphill; the father of her child Paul Elliott (Kelly) of Newton; her grandmothers, Jean Horton of Milam and Mary Bardwell of Moreauville, Louisiana.; and her siblings, Josh Elliott (Sharon) of Milam, Cullen Wright of Milam, Jackson Elliott of Newton, Hannah Bardwell of Milam, Sharissa Bardwell of Milam, Paulla Hill (Mitchell) of Newton and Jordan Elliott of Newton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Starr Funeral Home (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Starr Funeral Home Chapel (510 Starr St, Hemphill, TX 75948). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the New Hope Cemetery (200 Texas 87 S, Milam, TX 75959).
