He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Grady Collins and Docie Gholson Collins; his wife Joyce Collins; and his sons, Kenneth Collins and Richard Collins.

He is survived by : his son Mark Collins (Jennifer) of Friendswood, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
