It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera D. Bowen of Hemphill, Texas, born in Abbeville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Lamaison and Lydia Lamaison; and her husband John Robert Bowen. She is survived by : her children, John R. Bowen (Liz), Brandon Deshotel (Sharon) and Denise Bowen; and her siblings, Geary Lamaison and Carla Talamo. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
