He is survived by : his grandchildren, Chase Parmelly (Jennifer), Cody Gould, Cale Gould, Dakota Anderson, Dalton Sparks, Denver Thompson, Johnnie Thompson, Kenady Thompson and Cooper Thompson; his great grandchildren, Fields McCrae Parmelly and Briggs McCoy Parmelly; his wife Tamara; his children, Landon Roberts (Kelly), Amber Byrd (Scott) and Mandy Thompson (Eric); and his sisters, Teri Green (Dave) and Toni Roberts.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nobles Funeral Chapel (402 Blackshear St, Navasota, TX 77868). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
