He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Harpo" Sanders (Carolyn) and Linda Scarborough (Floyd); his nieces, Kathy Tomlin and Brittney Howard; and his brother-in-law Danny Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife DeeDee Sanders of Longview; his children, Marlon Sanders (Brandi) of White Oak, Kaleena Beene (Matt) of Gladewater, Amanda Morrow (Damon) of Longview and Nick Sanders of Gladewater; his siblings, James Lee Hays of Garland, Sherry Sanders of Henderson and Bubba Sanders (Rhonda) of Henderson; his grandchildren, Dakota Aarant, Bridgette March (Cody), Kadynce Taylor, Kynleigh Snyder, Braxton Sanders and Lexi Peery; and his great grandchildren, Adelyn "Addy" March and Dutton Aarant. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home (1414 S Main St, Henderson, TX 75654).
