He is survived by: his children, James Smith (Melissa) of Henderson and Mary Davis (Ben) of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Jacob Smith (Jennifer), Colby Smith, Morgan Smith (Madi), Alexis Smith, John William Underwood, Whitney Underwood and Kim Johnson. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
