She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Sixtos and Tomasa Sixtos (Mijia); her husband Mariano Garcia; her son Julian Pena, Jr.; her granddaughters, Corina Pena, Monica Pena Mendez and Rebecca Salas; her great grandchildren, Jose Angel Valadez and Donavan Duran; and her siblings, Mercadio, Fred, Victorio, Gilbert Sixtos and Lucia Rodriguez.
She is survived by : her grandson Sammy; her children, Stella Charles of Amarillo, Delia Vela (Arturo) of New Braunfels, Johnny Pena (Velma) of Irving, Ida Garza (Gilbert) of Wharton and Jaime Garcia of Hereford; her close friend Julian Benavidez of Hereford, Texas; her brother Demetrio Sixtos (Adela) of Yorktown; and also, Manuela Garcia of El Campo and Elva Sixtos of Brownfield, Texas. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren and twenty-five great-great grandchildren.
