He is survived by : his wife Jacqueline Dela Cerda of Hereford; his children, Amanda DeLaPaz (Ricky) of Hereford and Michael Dela Cerda (AnnMarie) of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Samantha Delgado, Morelia Delgado, Ricardo DeLaPaz and Olivia DeLaPaz; his great grandchildren, Amara and Savanna; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jaxx, Zander and Jonah; his siblings, Raymon Dela Cerda (Imelda) of Amarillo, Raul Dela Cerda of Amarillo, Juan Mendoza (Diana) of Amarillo, Carlos Mendoza of Amarillo, Dan Mendoza (Ortencia) of Amarillo, Richard Dela Cerda (Licha) of Dallas, Connie Mejia (Joe) of Casa Grande, AZ. and Paula Leon of Kansas; and also Jonathan Zambrano.

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home (105 Greenwood St, Hereford, TX 79045). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
