We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2020, at the age of 76, Marie Konecny (Highland Village, Texas), born in Daisytown, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Konecny to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Chopp and Osie Chopp; her brother John Chopp; her former life partner Gary Cooper; and her husband Gene Konecny.

She is survived by : her significant other Thomas E. Manders, Sr.; her sons, Jeff Cooper (Melodie) of Little Elm, TX and Brian Cooper of Anna, TX; her sister Rita Liebman (Dan) of Cecil, PA; her grandchildren, Marc, Zachary, Tiffany and Aurora Cooper; her nephews, Tom Liebman (Jenn) of Krum, TX, Christopher Liebman (Steffanie) of Guymon, OK and Daniel John Liebman of McDonald, PA; her niece Christine Durham Pressley (Al) of Hurlock, MD.; and her grandchildren, Drew, Maggie, Katie, Rhett, Jett, Beck Manders, Pierce and Sean Stanley.

In light of the Covid-19 restrictions in place, a small family service will be held at Dalton and Son Funeral Home, Lewisville, TX on Sunday, May 3, 2020. with interment immediately following at Flower Mound Cemetery, We hope for a bigger celebration of her life on or around her birthday, circumstances permitting.
