We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Brenda McGregor of Hillsboro, Texas, born in Port Lavaca, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Brenda McGregor.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Lenita Ruth Green Battles and Luther Varnell Battles; and her brother Michael Varnell Battles. She is survived by : her husband Frank Bobbitt McGregor Jr.; her sons, Jason (Dena) of Hamilton and Aaron (Kristin) of Hillsboro; her grandchildren, Josy, Brazos, Haley, Amelia and Mason McGregor; her siblings, David Battles (Paula), Gerald Battles (Terrie) and Pamela Kellough; her parents-in-law, Gene, Dusty Stribling, Doc Dwyer, Martha McGregor and Annette Battles; and also Ana Estrada. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews; and a host of cousins, and other relations, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 26th 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors - Hillsboro (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 27th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church-Hillsboro (300 E Franklin St, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 27th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (2124 S 5th St, Waco, TX 76706). Facial masks and social distancing are required.
