For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alvin "Al" and Velma Estelle Attebery (Fenton); his son Darren Attebery; and his sister Sherlyn Alford. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his sons, Michael (Kim Attebery), Bryan (Julie Attebery) and Joseph (Betty Stroud); and his sister Beverly Johnson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memory Cemetery (3838 TX-22, Hillsboro, TX 76645).
