She was predeceased by: her husband James D. May; her parents, Thelma Minson and George Wilson Minson; her siblings, Wilma Kunetka and Bill Minson; and her daughters, Doris Lynn (Houston) and Darlene Lynette Cato (Frost).
She is survived by: her children, Dianna Phillips (Italy), James May, Jr. (Italy), Deborah Johnson (Maybank) and Dwayne May-Aubrey (Frost); and her grandchildren, Amber, Jimmy, Nathan, David, Brandie, Chrystal, Joseph, Samuel, Ashley, Lisa, Christopher, Don and Daniel.
