He was predeceased by: his parents, Frankie Mae Massey and Jimmy Massey Jr.; and his siblings, Jimmie Neil Lindsey, Vincent Massey, Loretta Massey and Kay Kay Massey.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Massey; his children, Stacey Massey, Richuel Massey II, Donald Massey, Vanity Massey, Yolandra Fulton-Massey, Treneze Sanders and Lamar Hughes; his grandchildren, Richuel Massey III, Deejay Massey, Christopher Hailey Jr., Seleste Massey, Tyson Fulton, Monti Barker, George Jones Jr., Yo'Shiana Jones, Le'Brianna Jones and Aalaia Duke; and his siblings, Willa Milligan (Jean), Anna Franklin, Michael Rhinehart, Forris Massey (Tippy), Gracie Mae Dickerson and Patrick Massey. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, and friends.
