He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Albert and Rosa Juanita Phillpott (Smith); and his siblings, Charles Burton Phillpott and Janice Harris. He is survived by : his wife Tommie Jean Davis; his children, Tiffany DuBose (Frank), Dea Toler and Carl (Deana); his sister Karen Trochim (Jim); and his grandchildren, Massie DuBose, Alexis Hartman (Damian), Karlie Toler, Sydnie Toler and Joshua Phillpott. He is also survived by Numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Baptist Church - Normangee TX.
