He is survived by: his siblings, Stephan Thiem (Carlene) and Stephanie Verkin; his sons, John W. Thiem, Jr. (Brenna) of Hitchcock and Michael Joseph Thiem (Stephanie) of Texas City; his grandchildren, Taylor Thiem Regine (Zack), Hunter Thiem, Georgi Thiem, Jaycee Thiem, Jayden Thiem and Grant William Thiem (Popo); and his sisters, Jennie Thiem (Jen) and Maryann Summers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Crowder Funeral Home (401 Texas Ave, La Marque, TX 77568). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
