He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Escamilla and Francisca Escamilla. He is survived by: his siblings, Roman, Oscar Escamilla and Sara Cansino; his granddaughter Candace Lynn; his wife Rachel Morin Escamilla; his children, Timothy Escamilla (Amanda) and Candace Miniel (Joshua Cantu); his grandchildren, Nicholas Miniel, Gabriella Ibarra, Makenzie Escamilla and Lukas Escamilla; and his sisters, Elena Yanez of Fort Worth, Feliz Garza of Pasadena and Connie Martinez of Pasadena. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home Grand Chapel (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
