Charles D. Toepperwein Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles D. Toepperwein of Hondo, Texas, who passed away on June 30, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles D. Toepperwein to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max C. Toepperwein and Lottie Toepperwein (Schwarz); and his brother Max A. Toepperwein. He is survived by: his former spouse Lorelei Bartholomew; his wife Lori; his children, Dwayne (Suzy), Ty (Traci) and Cissy (Benje); his grandchildren, Sommer (Tyler), Travis, Tate, Taryl, Dustin, Chrissy and Baylor; his great grandchild Dylan; and his siblings, Joanne, William (Ann), Hugh and Harry (Carilyn).
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, there will be a small private graveside service for the immediate family, with a celebration of life at a later date.
The family also extends their sincere gratitude to the loyal family members that showed love and support during his battle with Alzheimer's. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
