For Delia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Inocencia Salazar and Concepcion Salazar; her husband Arturo Resendez, Sr.; and her son Arturo Resendez, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Alfred Resendez, John Anthony Resendez, Laurie Felan (Jeff) and Belinda Resendez (Henry). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hondo Funeral Home (2910 Avenue E, Hondo, TX 78861). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Hondo Cemetery.
