It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Fender of Hondo, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Mark Montgomery; her husband Philip L. Fender; and her brother Paul Mark Montgomery. She is survived by : her parent Lexcia Montgomery; her children, Alice Tomlinson (Barry), Mark L. Fender (Robyn), Dale H. Fender (Trina) and Samuel Fender; her grandchildren, Steven Tomlinson, Paul Tomlinson, Michael Tomlinson, Lauryn Hajek (Chris), Andrew Fender, Jenna Guzman (Gabe), Jerremy Fender (Jamie), Caleb Fender, Kaycee Fender and Rachel Fender; her great grandchildren, Evelyn and Lillian Hajek; and her siblings, Eugene William Montgomery, Velma Cook, Ruby Burns and Donna Ritchey.
