He was predeceased by : his wife Evangelina R. Escamilla; his parents, Reyes, Sr. Escamilla and Maria Velia Escamilla; and his brother John Henry Escamilla. He is survived by : his children, James Ray Escamilla, Grace E. De Leon (Oscar) and Patricia E. Valenzuela (Joe, Jr.); his siblings, Irma Garcia (Larry), Rosalinda Garcia (Juan Mario), Maria Alicia Campos (late Aldolfo), Daniel Escamilla (Martha), Efrain Escamilla (Eudelia) and Ernest Escamilla; and his sister-in-law Irene Escamilla. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
