He is survived by: his wife Excell Gatson Groggs; his children, Alicia Groggs Arps, Tereice Groggs and Autrey Groggs of Houston, Texas; his grandson Troy Groggs (Sophia); and his children, Dimatina Brown, Jamoncie Sanders (Brittney), Janerius Sanders, Taylor Brown and Keisha Groggs. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, brothers and sister-in-laws, extended family.
