It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Thomas of Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Agnes Watkins Thomas and Alton Thomas; his son Xonaphan Thomas; and his siblings, Harold Watkins, Morris Thomas, Aurelia Hunter and Nathalie Boxley.
He is survived by: his daughter Nathalie Johnson (Elston); his grandchildren, Kendel Thomas and Taylor Johnson; his sister Oneida Thomas Polk; his niece Raquel Molina (Heriberto); his caregiver Robert Polk (Roxanne); his great-nephew Quentin Polk; and his great-niece Robyn Polk. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
