The memory of Anita Puente Muñoz of Houston, Texas, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Puente, Sr. and Carmen Dominguez Puente; her husband Manuel Zamora Muñoz; her son Manuel Alfred "Freddy" Muñoz; her great grandchildren, Marandah and Marcelah Alvarez; and her brother Rodolfo Puente.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deanna Muñoz, Dana Marie Muñoz (Mark Perez) and Antoinette Lizcano (David); her siblings, Antonio Jr., Mario, Joe Louis, Andrew Puente and Carolyn Cantu; her grandchildren, Adrian, Marissa, Andres, Noah and Jayden; and her great grandchildren, Mariah, Marabellah and Marlanah. She is also survived by family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Compean Funeral Home (2102 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77012). A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 3600 Brinkman St, Houston, TX 77018. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
