It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Z. Martinez of Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Martinez; his children, Arthur Martinez Jr. and Cynthia Rios (late Don Rios); his grandchildren, Erika Leach (Tyler Leach), Lauren Martinez, Madyson Martinez, Phillip Rios, Lia Zahoruiko, Krystin Rios, Savannah Rios and Gabriela Rios; his great grandchildren, Bowen and Gunnar Leach; and his sisters, Irene Quijano and Rosie Reyes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
