With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Copaus of Houston, Texas, born in Marlin, Texas, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Copaus and Meta Copaus; and his siblings, Cynthia Copaus, Jimmy Copaus and Tommy Copaus.
He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Avie Copaus; his siblings, Curtis and Shirley Powell; and his children, Billy, Jr., Kimberly Copaus, Phillip and Tracy McDonald. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
