She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Phreada Lang and Henry Lang; her significant other Keith O. Gilbert Sr.; her brother Bernard Lang; her daughter Katherine Thomas; and her parents, Gwendolyn Aiton and Donald Aiton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia H. Franklin (Terry Franklin), Julie M. Jesperson (Corby Jesperson) and Ann E. Harper; her grandchildren, Misty (Michael Blythe), Joseph Mittelstedt, Shabd Khalsa, Kristen Smith, Kara Reyes (Jonathan Van Bever) and Christopher (Nicole Jesperson); her stepchildren, Donna L. Gilbert, Williamson, Melisa, Keith O. Gilbert Jr. and Stephen L. Gilbert; her sister-in-law Donna Koonce; her siblings, Bruce (Myat Htway Aiton) and Marge Judd; and her sister-in-law Cheryl Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
