It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn H. Patterson (Houston, Texas), born in Seminary, Mississippi, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Plezz Herrin and Edna Herrin. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Barden E. "Bud" Patterson; her children, Jan Patterson Cameron and Barden Todd Patterson (Amy); her grandchildren, Kyrie Cameron (Paul), Darian Schmeltekopf (Eric) and Emily Conner (Billy); her great grandchildren, Noah, Theo, Truett and Hannah Kate; and her siblings, Rosemary, Jean and Don. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
