She was predeceased by: her parents, John Allen and JoAnna Allen; her brother John "Johnny" Allen; and her son Stephen Newell. She is survived by: her husband Richard Newell; her son Ryan (Vanessa); her grandchildren, Gavin and Sofia; and her great grandchild Erin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America in Cheryl's honor.
