He is survived by: his wife Susan; his son Clay; his sisters, Betty Simpson (Houston), Sally Chapoton, Ruth Flournoy and Mary King; and his daughters, Emily Heurman and Kristi Ison. He is also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
