He is survived by: his wife Helen Sheppard; his siblings, Rayford Sheppard (Joyce), Charles Sheppard (Mary) and Huston Sheppard (Sharon); his children, Carla, Cheryl (Mark), Amalia (Michael), Tamara, Wesley (Roshuna), Cyrano, Bettijuneeca, Jeremiah (Anita), Clyde Jr. (Jasmine) and Clydesley; his grandchildren, Tiara, Shanaia, Anissa, Chemere, Jehon, Sheridan, Leonard, Charlise, Johntae, Javon, Michael, Alaina, Nathan, Nadia, Mahogany, Jade, Adian, Brely, Jailen, Clyde III, Emery, Curtis Jr., Cailie, Caeleb and Caeden; his cousins, James Leon Starr and Rayvon Starr; his aunts, Rozella Wilson, Aquila Williams and Mamie Lipscomb; and his uncle Tommie Lipscomb. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
