It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Gamez Salazar (Houston, Texas), born in Bastrop, Texas, who passed away on January 1, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Tom Gamez and James Gamez (Dopey); and her daughter Donna Lynn. She is survived by: her children, Frank G Vasquez (Jeanne), Larry G Vasquez, Daniel L Miranda, Albert R Salazar (Debi) and Carrie Moreno Mikel; and her sisters, Mary Lou Suarez and Carmen Flores. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, and 16 Great Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
