She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy R. Gomez and Cristella M. Gomez; and her sisters, Betty, Rita, Linda and Mary.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Smouse; her sisters, Sylvia and Barbara; her children, Jason Smouse (Meredith) and Stephanie Smouse-Brown (Tab); and her grandchildren, Aaron, Kyle Brown, Dylan and Mackenzie Smouse.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
