It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Jerome Boldra in Houston, Texas, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on January 14, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ellis K. Boldra and Kathryn Mulligan; his siblings, Gregory of Westminster, CO, Gary of Glendale, AZ and Karen of Tulalip, WA.; and his nephews, Matthew of Pine, CO, Gabriel, Jacob of Phoenix, AZ and Michael of Corpus Christi, TX..

In his final hours on earth, he agreed to allow the inscription on his tombstone to be changed from "He Tried" to "He was Loved!"In lieu of flowers he suggested donations to St. John the Divine endowment fund.
