He is survived by: his children, Debra Denise Samuels, Wanda Renee DeWalt and Rahn Beaty (Robin); his grandchildren, Tannecia Renee Allen and Lonnie "Justin" Henderson (Samantha); his great grandchild Jayla Lennise Jefferson; his stepgrandsons, Carl Manney and Brandon Beaty; and his siblings, John Samuels (Gloria), Charlie Mae Taylor (late Robert), Paul Samuels (Nettie), Earnest Samuels (Brenda), Ivory F. Samuels, Betty Copeland (Bay), Birdex Copeland, Jr. (Lolita), Mary Copeland (Pookie), Charles Copeland (Wanda) and Gloria Jones (Don). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends.
