We even rode a camel together. We became very good friends. She visited our home in Wisconsin once and we had lunch with her in Houston at LaMadeline whenever we were in town. I recently tried to contact her but never got a return call. Now I know why. I will always miss her and the love we had for each other as friends.”

“Tim O'Neill, Deirdre's brother We appreciate the messages that are coming in from all of Deirdre's friends and co-workers. It really does help with the sense of loss, so thank you. You may not know that she had been suffering terribly recently. Arthritic neuropathy and several other conditions were really taking a toll, and some days she could barely cope with the pain. The prognosis was not very good, either. She is free from all of that now. Her suffering is over and she will rest in peace.”
