He was predeceased by: his cousin Earl C. Hankamer III; his parents, Earl Curtis Hankamer, Jr. and Geraldine Alice Brown; his stepparents, Doris Hankamer, Jerry and Horace Goodell; and his siblings, Katherine Hankamer Norris and James Randolph "Randy" Hankamer.
He is survived by: his wife Bettie Harrison Hankamer; his brother Charles Douglas Hankamer; his daughters, Karen Hankamer Horne (Trevor), Joanna Hankamer (Bianca) and Heather Hankamer Consoli (Jason); and his grandchildren, Michael Curtis Horne, William Ellis Horne, Harrison Thomas Consoli, Kate Riley Consoli, Anna Hadley Consoli and Cy-Henry Siegl Hankamer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
