She was predeceased by: her father Louis; her husband Findly Miles "Fin" Doughty; and her mother Sarah (Fin). She is survived by: her brother CharlesTurner (Sue); her children, Douglas Doughty (Cindy), Kent Doughty and Sherri Garrett (Mark); and her grandchildren, Erin Garrett (Daniel), Jennifer Chesnakas (Timothy), Christina Poole (Brian) and Miles Garrett.

She spent her time volunteering for the American Cancer Society providing rides to patients who needed it most, being the helping hand when no one else could.
