It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Daniel Lynch (Houston, Texas), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Frances and Margaret Lynch; his wife Mary Dalton Lynch; and his sisters, Mary Lynch Nickels and Joanne Lynch Mattke.

He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Daniel Lynch (Karen) of Downers Grove, Joseph Dalton Lynch (Alysia) of Dallas and John Edward Lynch (Julie) of Houston; his grandchildren, Marie Lynch (John Sturgeon), Ryan Lynch, Daniel Lynch (Jordan), Brian Lynch (Ellie), Emily Lynch, Jack Lynch and Conner Lynch (Megan); his great grandchild Gemma Marie; and his sister-in-law Judith Dalton of Empire. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to "Operation School Bell" at the Assistance League of Houston, 1902 Commonwealth, Houston, TX, 77006.
